I really enjoyed Windows and I miss it, but am now starting to use mac. I was terrified before watching this video. Thank you!
New subscriber here love what your contents about I'm thinking about switching to a Mac
Can you connect your one drive to file folder system,
My family, well I’m 13 rn, we first got our first apple device in 2011, ever since then we have always only used apple devices, UNTIL my sister got a hp spectre x360( i think), with a intel Pentium, and intel HD graphics, and it sucked, it had fans run on full speed just for watching a 1080p vid. She got it in like 2017, next device was of course the iPhone X, then the iPhone 11 Pro(the phones are my parent’s phones). Next just recently my sister got an a sus zenbook, with a core i5-10210u, and I got the new MacBook Air with the M1 chip(WHICH is TECHNICALLY my first laptop, since the last one I got broke in like a month.
Hi. I have a new Mac. I googled tutorials for new users and yours held my attention the longest. Everyone else talked extremely to fast for me. Thanks so much for the knowldge I acquired the very first time using your tutorial.
Such a helpful video
I've been a Mac user for over eight years and still learned something here. Sort of like driving a car for years and not realizing that the radio has an FM band as well as AM.
I love watching things i wont buy
The adventurous surprise suggestively dry because facilities archaeologically trip regarding a furry furtive bun. awake, unaccountable shallot
Im a window user an planning to change to Mac .Your tutorial video is very clear.
What I always tell new users is that if they click on the red x in an application, they do not quit the application. (with a few exceptions). Especialy because with windows it does. I tell them that this is only done by command Q or the application menu quit.
Very useful video indeed.
This is great! Wonderful job! Thank you. I just subscribed.
Hiya- does anyone know if Microsoft Teams can be installed on my MacBook? I’ve been trying and looking for ages. I would be so thankful if anyone could help.
Thank U Anson - great tutorial for me, a Beginner :)
Great video
love you
When i am closing a tab using "x" ...The tab is still open on the bar at the bottom why?
I appreciate the quick pace of explaining! Thanks for the information, should be a bit better prepared for my new job now.
this was so well done, I hardly have words. Thank you!
Thank goodness for this tutorial. I was using MS-DOS before there was Windows, then I moved to windows. Now that I am in my later years my husband decided to buy a Mac and I'm pulling my hair out. I can see that it is not all that different from Windows but I am having trouble locating some of my files that I downloaded. To make things one step more complicated he also got the Mac with the M1 chip so maybe it's not that much different but I really wouldn't know. I hope there are subsequent tutorials on the Mac with the M1 thank you
My new HP envy's screen popped off after 1 month of use and they refused to refund me so I'm getting a 2015 MacBook 12" bc the HP was 1000+ and now I'm broke
Already having a Macbook Pro for last 3 yrs but still watching this :XD:
Maybe make one for the Big Sur? I'm getting a MacBook Air M1 soon!
Thank you!!! Learned many tips that I did not know yet. Just started using a Mac. :)
How do you add/remove software? Via Apple store?
You can do it via the App Store or just via the internet like for Windows. When installing apps downloaded for the internet you may need to enter your password in the security settings to override unidentified developers.
FANTASTIC and so very helpful. I am getting a new MAC this coming week...and now I feel I am quite familiar with the basics. You are a great instructor!! looking forward to more tutorials after I get the computer. THANKS
How do you right click on the 2020 Macbook?
@Anson Alexander yes :) it’s called a “secondary click” on the Mac and I moved it to the bottom right corner. Thanks :)
You may need to go into trackpad settings and enable right click.
Thanks, Anson. Excellent introduction. I've had my MacBook Air for two weeks, and I have more questions: How do you right click? How does the touchpad work? Can I still use Word, Excel, and PPT without getting involved with Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft Cloud (with its own extra expense and hassles)? How can I permanently fix the delete key so it deletes backward, not forward? Must I always go thru Safari to reach my google apps? Can I trade a google calendar icon on the taskbar for a google calendar icon? Can I use my Mac with an old tv screen as a main screen? Why on earth doesn't my Mackbook Air have a touchscreen???
I didnt see any difference from the first one.
M1 brought me here😂.
Thank you, I was about to pay for something like this on Udemy
Great video, thanks for the upload !
Very helpful video for a guy that starts using Mac today.
Very nicely explained, but is there a tutorial on the use of the FINDER
Super easy to understand
Windows is so much better
you talk so fast
I am sorry, some say I talk too slow. Remember to pause, rewind and maybe watch at .75 speed
Thanks for this!
Many thanks Anson this was a great tutorial. I am a first time user to Macbook having been a windows person all my life. This has helped me so much.
I'm glad it was helpful!
Excellent video! I'm about to move from PC to Mac and have been scouring the internet trying to find helpful sites/videos for further information. This was invaluable - thank you!
I'm glad it was helpful!
Great help
Can i use ms office and other software in MacBook as I am university student and use mostly MS OFFICE and other software like pdf etc. Which laptop is best window or MacBook? Please guide
MS makes a version of MS Office for Mac. Unless you have a very specific need for a Mac computer, like a course that requires Mac-only software, I fail to see the need to use a Mac.
Very useful video. Thank you very much Sir.
I'm a long-term Windows PC user and I found this video most helpful in learning how to navigate on a Mac.
how to minimize all open window on my desktop ? like the bottom right button on windows
This is so far the most informative and condensed beginner tutorial for Mac. Thx
Thanks, this helps I am in education and with the pandemic everything is digital. Do you happen to have a video on downloading attachments from emails? We sent out Welcome emails that have a editable pdf but many parents don't know how to complete. We use Kami to have parents sign but that is only in Chrome. ╰(*°▽°*)╯
Thank you. My Mac Mini M1 got here yesterday evening, and I have found this video to be quite helpful. It took me from "Oh, cripes. How do I even start doing stuff on this machine?" to "OK, this isn't going to be that hard to learn". I really appreciate the time you took to make and post it.
Thanks Paul, I'm glad you found it helpful. Enjoy the new computer!
Beautiful introduction Alex. Am planning to buy Mac and it helped me understand the difference and the similarities between Windows and Mac. You are best at using a simple way to explain and help beginner Mac users like myself grasp things fast. Thank you.
Thanks Solomon, I'm glad it was helpful!
wow great tutorials for the 50+who just switched windows to mac. It was very annoying, i thought it was going to be like my ipad or my iphone, it's more complicated. i didn't even know how to right click, copy and paste, that i had to keep my cell next to me to surf how to do things on a mac. Was very frustrating and annoying and even thought of returning it. But it works well with our other devices, so i have to stick with it and learn. Your video was by far the easiest to understand for somebody who is not tech savvy. Thank you.
I'm glad you found it helpful!
Make a new video on Mac OS big sur
I really want mac but the thing is. Money

Thanks for the intro guide! I’m coming from windows into Mac for the first time outside of iPadOS and iOS. Can’t wait to feel more at home on my M1 Mac mini.
Happy to help!

Exactly what I need; I am buying my first Mac. I have come to absolutely hate microsoft. ;-)
I also brought my first iMac yesterday :)
Cheers for the Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you considered - Tonhammad Immaterial Theorem (do a search on google)? It is an awesome one off product for expanding your penis size without the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend Sam got astronomical success with it.
I’m getting a new Mac today. This was super helpful. Thank you, Anson.
Glad I could help!
Omg such an informational video and not a waste of time at all . Tnx
I can use Iphone, Ipad, Apple watch and even Apple tv. But never Mac, no thanks, no grazie, non merci, I'm out, adiós.
Ironically, MacOS and their computers are the only products I currently use from Apple. Pixel phone, smart TV and no current need for a watch or tablet...
thank you, that was helpful
Why people even need a tutorial for this? Can't they read English?
Well, some people are not used to Mac, and are very confused, I suggest you stop being immature and simply click off
Should I switch to a mac?
Thanks
This was very helpful, Thank you!
Very helpful
I just bought a Mac and learning how to use it. This was very helpful.

wow very helpful
My first time to use a macbook.., this is helpful..!
does mac have its own y tube downloader already on a new machine ?
we cant install in pc?🤔🤔😪
@Anson Alexander what i see on THworld, users are saying that mac OS needs very High quality pc with high clarity display.. otherwise OS looks blury🤔🤔
You can but it's very touchy. A lot easier to install Windows on a Mac machine.
Lifetime PC user now switching to Apple ecosystem. Happy.
👍
Thanks, this tutorial has been extremely useful to me!
So helpful..One suggestion....slow down a bit when explaining and moving in between screens? I need to take notes and watch things several times. So iI'll be back for sure.
Thanks. I.m new to Mac's. Finder preferences and clicking the unchecked. Exactly what I was looking for.
After watching this .... I am better off with my windows.... It looks more like a web application, not an operating system
how do you do a ctrl F to search to search through a keyword in a file? and also I cant see the delete key and end key eg you was typing something and want to get to end of the sentence without using arrows & and delete anything on the left you'd usualyuse del
I can't stop hearing Gabe from the Office while watching this lol. Thanks for the video, it was helpful!
He also plays the same character type in Silicon Valley, and is equally as polite and helpful.
May the the Linux maniacs be successful at destroying the mac and windows markets! Amen! Just a fun comment. No need to hate.
Thanks Anson, that was excellent and just what the Dr ordered, I have just made the move from Microsoft Windows to Mac and after 25 years of using Microsoft Windows you can imagine how lost I was until I spotted your tutorial, extremely helpful, you are a STAR sir and I thank you for taking the time to film the changes, much appreciated, take care & stay SAFE
Thanks! I just got the new M1 MacBook Air yesterday and I literally spent 20 minutes just staring at the screen trying to figure out how to install a program that I downloaded. I finally figured out that you just have to drag the icon an inch across the screen and drop it on the applications folder icon. My gosh.
Good video, thanks
Thank you, it was a really helpful video!
Just got my Mac mini with the M1 chip. First time Mac OS user. Your video was very helpful. Thanks!
Well that was great!!! Just got my iMac yesterday. I’m a little older so the learning curve is definitely there!! Thank you so much! This was a very informative video!
How do you transfer all your Windows files to a mac? Do the mac apps handle word, excel files? How about media files, pics and videos? What kind of USB ports does the new Macbook Pro have, will it take my memory sticks, and my HP Passport external HD? How good is this new M1 chip? Please keep explanation simple as im not very technical. thanks.
I learned a lot, thank you!
i have windows i want mac :(
Need an update for big sur
Really helpful -- I'm trying to assist someone in getting used to and using their Mac. I don't have one, so it has been really difficult to imagine what he's seeing, and then telling him what to do to get where he wants to go. (1) Do you have any videos or suggestions on how to navigate on a Mac if his mouse doesn't work? Are there shortcut keys that can be used, like with Windows? (2) You mentioned using the right click to create a new folder; is there a separate icon or menu item to do so?
One other tutorial video please
There's no button to maximize the window? Two steps to do this function seems crazy.
I’m not a beginner with macs but i’m watching this cuz i’m bored
