  • #geddupouwahdah I'm sitting here thinking how the feck does Petesy Carroll only have 1.74k subs. This content serves everyone in the MMA sphere. I as a fan want more of it, delivered as seamlessly as possible. This is what helps the sport grow. We all need to chip in where we can. Elevate these journalists. Click, like, share, affiliate. Covid shows us we need to help each other in any way possible. Ariel Helwani, Michael Bisping, Chael Sonnen, ESPN need to bring up the little guy. Chael says when you get up in the loft don't pull the ladder up. That advice isn't just for fighters. They could focus on driving traffic downstream. Shoutouts and acknowledgements bring attention. The lads should seek out a professional sound engineer and work on the "eh"s and the "ehm"s a bit for a broader audience. If you understand sound quality and love MMA reach out to the lads and help them get going. We as fans can help spread and create trend which gets the whole supply/demand game moving. Everyone's a winner. Cheers lads hang in there it'll grow. #eatmearse #arielhelwani #dchelwani #chaelsonnen #danasabollox #danawhite #joerogan #petesycarroll #joseyoungs #fullreptile #mmafighting #UFC #ESPN #mma #conormcgregor #fighting #martialarts #MichaelBisping #believeyoume #bym #jackslack #fightsgoneby #fgb #tellmetoshutup #constructivecriticism #thebashmma #themaclife #espnplus #anikflorianpodcast #mmanews #bellator #pfl #cagewarriors #khabib #theschmozone #theweasle #2021 #love #unity #thelads hashtagyerma

    • @Ahmad Junaidi I’ve been watching the sport a lot longer than you. This term “fanboy” is a term used by kids generally on U tube. I know both as fighters and that’s it. Khabib conducts himself better it seems and is a good role model for the sport, for me I couldn’t care less, I don’t know them and I don’t lose sleep if either of them lose. All I do know is , Khabib has never tested himself , barely makes the 155lbs cut . Some say McGregor was fighting midgets at 145lbs, he moved up! Is Khabib fighting midgets? Does he have the balls to move up a weight and test himself?

    • @Ahmad Junaidi Fan of Khabib , fan of the sport . Here to see the best compete with the best . Dustin , Johnson ( he’s not even fighting anymore after his loss) ...... no they don’t.

    • @Ahmad Junaidi Nobody has ever wanted to face Khabib again after being beaten . They all keep quiet and never mention his name . Either McGregor is a mad man or he knows he’ll get closer next time around . I feel he gets a lot closer to beating him. Why wouldn’t anybody want to see that fight again ? GSP? Khabib wants to fight him at 155lbs. He barely makes that weight , in fact it nearly killed him once. Being called out after beating someone will put questions in any bodies head. It doesn’t matter who you are or what sport you’re in, that’s why I know what Khabib is thinking. He knows McGregor will get closer next time and it puts doubt in his mind.

    • Very true, but it’s there for everyone to see, he’s been out of the news, no arrests , no court appearances. He’s not drinking or doing drugs. That was there for everyone to see also. He’ll batter Dustin, he won’t know what hit him. Such a pity Khabib and himself won’t fight again. Khabib knows well McGregor will get closer next time

    • @kevinThe fact that he was drinking and promoting his whiskey during a press conference doesn't mean that is all he was doing during fight camp. That's one of the dumbest excuses ever. He was promoting McGregor Sports & Entertainment heading into the Floyd fight as well. As for why he didn't engage in much trash talk or promotional stuff prior to the Cowboy fight, I would say that was a direct result of the ass whooping he got from Khabib. Also, Cowboy was a handpicked opponent whose purpose was to make McGregor relevant again. Compared to what he did in the lead up to the Aldo fight, I don't see what he did leading up to the Khabib fight as much different. The difference was that his mind games didn't work against Khabib and Khabib was just the better fighter.

      Sundar SubramaniamSundar Subramaniamหลายเดือนก่อน
    • @Sundar Subramaniam you could see him drunk and drinking at the press conference and during fight week promoting his whiskey so the excuse that he wasn't focused and was drunk most of the time lines up with what he said, we didn't see him like that in the lead up vs Cowboy

    • @Sundar Subramaniam He has fought Porier already lmaoooooooo, he knocked him out in 90 seconds. You have no idea if Conor would win a rematch so youre just as delusional saying there's no way he could win, that's like saying Porier has no chance because Conor beat him in 2014.

      Eoghan Mac UidhirEoghan Mac Uidhirหลายเดือนก่อน
    • @Eoghan Mac Uidhir He hasn't fought Poirier yet but he and his fans have been clamoring for a rematch since the fight against Cowboy, who isn't a top contender. He also never fought any top contender at LW prior to his title shot and held the belt for two years without defending it. Fighters making excuses is common but in this case, a lot of his fans seem to genuinely believe his excuses for his loss against Khabib are genuine, which is nonsense. He just wasn't good enough.

There are people with poor management skills so instead of trusting the fighter to be hydrated and on weight you give them a day to make sure someone doesnt die trying make weight before an extreme physical event

      David MerrimanDavid Merrimanหลายเดือนก่อน
    • @David Merriman that’s poor weight management by the fighter and his team. The fighter has from fight announcement to fight night to manage the weight. To only realise the night before the fighter is overweight would be poor practice by the team.

The power of ZenThe power of Zenหลายเดือนก่อน
    • @The power of Zen so what happens when someone that is 5 pounds over weight the night before cuts weight that same day and gets ass fucked how do you stop that 100 percent of the time

      David MerrimanDavid Merrimanหลายเดือนก่อน
    • @David Merriman yes the effects of dehydration can be fatal. However fight night weigh in would stop unfair weight advantage in combat sports. Fighters would be forced to fight closer to their natural weight classes because couldn’t use dehydration to make weight as it would be detrimental to their performance. Proposing methods to make fighting fairer Is a positive initiative for the sport.

The power of ZenThe power of Zenหลายเดือนก่อน
    • @The power of Zen First off conor has ko's in 3 weight divisions.... literally no one else in mma has done that. Also having people weigh in before a fight is a very big safety hazard because athletes dehydrate to hit weight accurately so your going to compete in the most violent and brutal sport in the modern day dehydrated or run the risk they dehydrated themselves to make weight? Look up dehydration effects on the body

  • The one thing I would LOVE to see is a Conor that looks so good, that he opens debate about who wins the Khabib rematch. Can’t wait to see Conor excel 😁

    • @TheChamp91100 So, you're an authority on statistics? Ironic how Conor is counted out when he gave Khabib his toughest match. He got the better of the stand up exchanges, regardless of that one aimless haymaker, stuffed serval take downs and forced Khabib to work hard for others when he usually takes opponents down at will, prevented Khabib form advancing position while on the ground, took minimal damage during Khabib's ground 'n' pound flurries and at times, was able to get back to his feet. Conor, if he maintains focus, is Khabib's most dangerous opponent, and Khabib's coach acknowledges this. Furthermore, it was Khabib who first started complaining when Conor was offered a shot at the title, after, of course, Khabib failed to show up when the title shot was offered to him first and foremost...Khabib took the first few jabs at Conor, thus sparking their feud, not the other way around as commonly thought.

    • @Kjph On what basis do you claim he's at his peak now and was not when he fought Khabib? Because he dusted Cowboy in Rd 1? The same Cowboy who was coming off of 2 knockout losses and wasn't even close to the Top 5? Because that's all McTapper has done since losing to Khabib. Khabib clearly said he's open to fighting McGregor as a money fight but just not from a competitive standpoint because he beat him quite easily in their first fight. He feels GSP is the only worthy fight at this point to enhance his legacy. Had Tony not lost to Gaethje, he would have fought him too but that ship has now sailed. Beating McGregor again does nothing for his legacy because he already schooled him once so if he has to fight him again, he wants a big retirement paycheck. Nate did NOT beat Conor up worse than Khabib in their first fight lmao. Conor just gassed trying to KO Nate within 2 rounds and then realized Nate was difficult to knock out. When Nate started landing combinations, Conor took him down hoping Nate would submit him rather than TKO him, which Nate obliged. In terms of damage dealt, Conor probably did more damage to Nate even though he lost the fight. Khabib's coach also said Conor was the most dangerous opponent TO PREPARE FOR because of his ability to KO in the first 2 rounds. That doesn't necessarily mean the fight itself was Khabib's most difficult. I think Tony would be a more challenging fight for Khabib than Conor. If Poirier was able to get Khabib into a guillotine, so can Tony and Tony's BJJ is more potent than Poirier's. On the other hand, Khabib could have easily finished Conor in Round 2 but chose to beat him up more rather than submit him. If they fight again, I see the fight going not very differently from Khabib's fight against Gaethje.

    • @John Johnson why would a Khabib fan cry when we all have that fight in our play list, watching Conor and his whole team tapping out? And conor fans crying in the stands🤣

  • Imma big fan of both Conor and Dustin but would favor Dustin in this fight due to activity and well roundedness. Now if the Conor from the 2nd Nate fight or Alvarez fight shows up he's decapitating Dustin. Funny thing about that is "that Conor" is long gone. You gotta train like youre homeless to be great in this sport, Conor is just too well off now.

  • Every one has flaws, but a man that doesnt give credit, and has only excuses. Conor aint what he used to be. Compare his demeanor after he lost to nate to after khabib.

    • That may be true but the difference is, Conor was doing well against Nate initially but gassed trying to KO him, after which Diaz started landing combinations and McTapper was forced to take him down and get submitted rather than KO'd. Against Khabib, he got schooled from the very beginning. So against Nate, he knew he had a chance if he changed his gameplan whereas against Khabib, he had the right gameplan but still lost because Khabib was simply the more skilled fighter.

  • Great little chat here... Nice to see Owen take the dive to open his own gym and train fighters solely. Thumbs up.

  • PFLDM = Poiriers fans lives don't matter. Conor KO round 1, diamond fans gonna cry, you heard it here first.

    • @Martin Mitter You missed the point he was making. He didn't argue the opinion McGregor will win, he agreed with it. Just pointed out the way that comment's worded, it's more of an attack on "the others" (Poirier fans) than a prediction. It's a shitty, malicious comment, he called it out and I agree. McGregor KOs him again, but @John Johnson is a twat

    • @Shawn Ruby Conor has already stated that he's aiming to knock poirier out faster than in the first fight so I wouldn't actually be surprised if it happened. And also Dustin is just too slow and easily hit so Conor will most likely finish him in first round. You wouldn't want to see Dustin going into second round with his face butchered by Conor's surgical shots
